Registration and records
Keep your State Sainik Welfare registration current after retirement and update family, address and pension details when they change.
Employment and rehabilitation
Sainik Welfare organisations coordinate rehabilitation and re-employment support and may guide eligible veterans toward State and Central opportunities.
Education and family support
For a ward or dependant claiming an ESM-category concession, obtain the prescribed certificate from the competent Sainik Welfare authority and verify the current academic-year notification.
Central schemes
KSB/RMEWF, DGR, ECHS and SPARSH benefits remain Central schemes. Local Sainik Welfare offices may help with verification but do not replace the Central sanctioning authority.
Documents to prepare
Keep discharge book/ESM ID, Uttarakhand residence proof where required, PPO/pension details, bank information and family/dependency records.
Check scheme-specific conditions
State cash awards, grants and concessions may depend on domicile, rank, disability, income, gallantry status or other conditions. Verify the latest State order.
Escalation
For an unresolved district-level issue, submit a written representation to the State Sainik Welfare authority with the earlier application/reference and supporting papers.
