Rajya Sainik Board
A Government of Tripura notification reconstituted the Rajya Sainik Board and notes that it is presently renamed as the Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Tripura.
ESM identity card
Current Tripura recruitment material accepts an ID card issued by the Sainik Welfare Department as supporting proof for an ex-serviceman applicant.
Education reservation
Tripura medical-education notifications recognise WESM (Ward of Ex-Serviceman) reservation and require certification approved by the Director of Sainik Welfare where applicable.

Documents to prepare
Keep discharge book/ESM ID, Tripura residence/citizenship proof where required, PPO/pension details, bank information and family/dependency documents.
Central benefits remain separate
KSB/RMEWF, DGR, ECHS and SPARSH are Central schemes/services. The Tripura Directorate may provide verification or liaison but does not replace Central eligibility rules.

Do not rely on an old grant amount or third-party scheme list. Ask the Directorate for the latest Government Order and application form.
