The official Rajasthan portal states that 24 Zila Sainik Karyalayas operate in the State for ex-servicemen, widows and dependants.

Amalgamated Fund schemes

The current portal lists assistance for daughter marriage, serious medical treatment, disability-related support, immediate assistance, technical-education scholarships and coaching support, subject to scheme conditions.

Recent disability-assistance rates

Rajasthan's current Amalgamated Fund page shows revised monthly assistance effective 1 November 2025 for certain disabled/specially-abled ESM up to Havildar rank who are not receiving disability pension. Always verify the exact category before applying.

State Government benefits

The current State-scheme page lists Samman Bhatta for eligible war widows/parents and World War II pension, among other State benefits.

Sainik Vishram Grahs

The Department reports 36 Sainik Vishram Grahs at district/tehsil headquarters providing temporary accommodation at concessional rates to eligible users.

What Zila offices can do

Rajasthan's official duties page says Zila Sainik Welfare Offices assist with pension issues, grants, medical assistance, employment, self-employment, training and family welfare.

What to prepare

Keep ESM identity/discharge documents, Rajasthan address proof where needed, pension status, bank details, dependency proof and the supporting document required by the scheme.

Use current portal dates

Rajasthan's portal is actively updated. Prefer the current scheme page over old printed booklets when figures conflict.

Central benefits are separate

State welfare does not replace Central schemes administered by Kendriya Sainik Board, DESW, DGR, ECHS or SPARSH. Check whether your benefit is State-funded, Central-funded or requires both State verification and Central approval.
