NIC Madhya Pradesh launched the State Sainik Kalyan Portal and m-Sainik app for the Directorate of Sainik Welfare.
Online ESM and widow registration
The portal supports registration of ex-servicemen and widows with a detailed profile. Keep your mobile number and identity details consistent with official records.
Scheme information and eligibility
NIC states that the portal provides detailed welfare-scheme information and a facility to check eligibility for schemes and grants.
Online applications
The system includes online receipt and approval of applications routed through District Welfare Offices, including generation of approval orders and SMS information to beneficiaries.
Forms and gazettes
The portal provides downloadable forms, letters and gazettes, which should be preferred over old unofficial copies.
District Welfare Offices
The State system works through district Sainik Welfare offices. Current Government audit listings show DSWOs across many districts under the Home Department.
Documents to prepare
Keep discharge/ESM identity documents, MP residence details where required, pension status, bank details, family/dependency papers and the scheme-specific supporting documents.
Separate State and Central benefits
KSB/RMEWF, DGR, ECHS and SPARSH remain Central channels even where MP district offices help with verification.
Central benefits are separate
KSB/RMEWF, DGR, ECHS and SPARSH are Central schemes/services. A State or District Sainik Welfare office may verify or assist a case, but the Central scheme's own rules still apply.
