State authority

The current Jharkhand Home Department portal lists Sainik Kalyan Nideshalaya among its important wings.

Official welfare role

The State portal expressly states that Sainik Kalyan Nideshalaya provides various welfare services to ex-servicemen and their dependants.

Where to start

For State-level ESM welfare, registration or certificates, use the Sainik Kalyan Nideshalaya/district welfare route and obtain the current application requirements.

Education and employment

For any ESM quota or dependant concession in recruitment/admission, follow the current recruiting or educational authority's notification and prescribed Sainik Welfare certificate.

Central schemes

KSB/RMEWF, DGR, ECHS and SPARSH benefits are separate Central schemes. Check whether a State verification step is required.

Documents to prepare

Keep discharge book/ESM ID, Jharkhand residence proof where applicable, PPO/pension status, bank details, family records and benefit-specific evidence.

Verify monetary benefits

Do not treat an old State circular or third-party list as proof of a current grant amount. Confirm the latest sanction/order with the Nideshalaya.

Escalation

If the local route does not resolve the matter, send a written representation to the Directorate/Home Department with your registration and earlier correspondence.
