22 district offices

The current official Haryana portal states that the Department operates through 22 District Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Offices.

Welfare schemes

The official portal lists current scheme categories including additional pension, assistance to disabled ESM, war widows, orphan children, elderly ESM/widows and marriage grants, subject to individual policy conditions.

Amalgamated Fund

Haryana's Amalgamated Fund supports areas including vocational training, rehabilitation loans, scholarships for dependants, medical assistance and Sainik Rest Houses.

Integrated Sainik Sadans

Haryana is developing Integrated Sainik Sadans as one-stop complexes combining services such as District Sainik Welfare offices, ECHS polyclinics, CSD canteens, rest houses and common facilities.

Employment and rehabilitation

The Department's stated activities include welfare, rehabilitation, vocational training and employment support for ESM and eligible dependants.

Use the official district directory

The current portal publishes district office addresses and contacts. Use the live directory because officers and phone numbers can change.

What to prepare

Keep ESM/discharge documents, Haryana residence details if required, pension/non-pensioner proof, bank details, family/dependency documents and scheme-specific certificates.

Verify rate before relying on it

The portal lists many scheme categories and older monetary orders. Confirm the present amount and qualifying conditions from the current policy/notification before applying.

Central benefits are separate

State welfare does not replace Central schemes administered by Kendriya Sainik Board, DESW, DGR, ECHS or SPARSH. Check whether your benefit is State-funded, Central-funded or requires both State verification and Central approval.
