Ten District Sainik Welfare Offices

The current official portal states that the Directorate oversees 10 DSWOs at Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Raigarh, Jashpur, Jagdalpur, Ambikapur, Baikunthpur and Kanker.

Online registration

The official portal provides an online-registration route for ex-servicemen and widows. Use it alongside district verification requirements.

Welfare coverage

The Directorate states that it supports employment, health, CSD-related issues, financial assistance, pension matters, legal/domestic/land issues and other welfare concerns of ESM and families.

State welfare schemes

The current official scheme pages list assistance from the Amalgamated Special Fund/Flag Day Fund, including category-specific financial support. Verify the latest amount and condition before applying.

Employment and self-employment

The Directorate liaises with State departments, undertakings, enterprises and banks for ESM vacancies and assists with self-employment planning and funding.

Pension adalats and rallies

The Department's stated responsibilities include ex-servicemen rallies and pension adalats to publicise concessions and help resolve problems.

What to prepare

Keep discharge/ESM ID, Chhattisgarh residence proof where required, PPO/pension details, bank information, family/dependency records and scheme-specific papers.

Use current DSWO directory

The portal publishes current district officer contacts. Use the live directory because officers and phone numbers can change.

Central benefits are separate

KSB/RMEWF, DGR, ECHS and SPARSH are Central schemes/services. A State or District Sainik Welfare office may verify or assist a case, but the Central scheme's own rules still apply.
