Calculate LTC leave encashment
LTC-linked encashment is normally up to 10 days per occasion, subject to the rules.
Formula
Indicative cash equivalent = (pay + admissible DA) ÷ 30 × EL days encashed.
The calculator limits the input to 10 days because LTC-linked encashment is permitted up to 10 days on an occasion, subject to the applicable conditions.
Career ceiling
DoPT instructions provide a separate career ceiling of 60 days for LTC-linked earned-leave encashment. The calculator does not know how many LTC encashment days you have already used.
Prior sanction and LTC conditions still matter
A calculated amount does not make a claim admissible. Follow the current LTC/leave procedure, including sanction/intimation and the conditions applicable to your journey or nil-fare case.
